I retired from the Army a couple years ago. I've ridden, shown, and trained horses a good majority of my life as well. I no longer show as I've found I enjoy my horses more through camping and trail riding. I have found it's more relaxing to sit by a campfire with my dogs and good friends.

Even though I'm technically retired, I still have goals and things that I want to see and do with my life and my farm. I have a boarding and training stable where I conduct and host clinics. I'm a National Mounted Police Services certified instructor and thoroughly enjoy teaching Mounted Police Officers and training horses. I've also started a mounted search and rescue group this year and hope to have a therapy program in place this winter for veterans, first responders, doctors, nurses, etc. A program for people who see trauma on a regular basis. A place they can go after work to relieve stress instead of taking it home to their families.

I have a 9-year-old son and enjoy doing a variety of things with him, whether it's riding horses, kayaking, swimming, taking him to concerts or museums, etc. He is autistic and nonverbal but I don't let any of that stop him and I expose him to as much as I possibly can. His laughter is infectious and he doesn't know how to do anything other than enjoy life itself.

I'm looking for a partnership based on mutual respect, trust, and common goals in life. I'm interested in finding someone to enjoy life with who likes doing something together but also enjoys their own time. I like cooking dinner for someone, but enjoy it more when they're right there next to me sharing how their day went, past experiences or thoughts for the future. Communication and transparency are huge for me. I enjoy working on projects with someone else, whether it's fixing fences, mowing the lawn, building something or even cleaning the house. I do tend to stay busy but I also like to snuggle on the couch and watch a good movie once in awhile (typically when it's dark out or in the winter).
